Frequently Asked Questions for Children's Choir

Who Can Join Choir?
Any child, age 2 years - 5th grade can join a choir - you do not have to be a church member. We offer 16 different choirs for children.
When do the Choirs Practice?
All of our Children's Choirs practice on Wednesday afternoons before the church supper. The 2 year olds - Kindergarten choirs practice from 5:30 - 6:00. The 1st - 5th grade choirs practice from 5:30 - 6:15. All rehearsals are in the Trinity Hall building. The Children's Choir year is September to April.
How Can I Register My Children?
Registration is available
- Wednesday, September 1, from 5:00 - 6:00 pm, at the Methodist Youth Center.
- Every Wednesday throughout the year at 5:00 pm, on the second floor landing of the Trinity Building.

Other Information
Choir T-Shirts
All of our children's choirs have t-shirts. Each age lever has a different color. We have a "T-Shirt Day" each October when everyone wears their shirts to choir. Many of the choirs wear the shirts when they sing, and everyone wears them for All Music Sunday.
Choir Crosses
Every child, age 3 years - 5th grade, has a choir cross. The crosses are worn when the children sing in worship. The wooden cross has ribbons added for each year they are in choir. The ribbons match the color of each choir.
