Sunday School

Sundays, 10 a.m.
Student Center Chapel

Student Ministry will host a single class in the Student Center Chapel each Sunday, June 6-August 1. Since students haven’t met for Sunday School (digitally or in person) since March 2020, this weekly gathering will be a time when they can get back into the rhythm and ease into activities as the new school year approaches. Each week’s gathering will focus on growth in community around God’s Word and connection with one another.

Life Groups

Life Groups meet during the school year to students can experience Christian community face to face! Life Groups typically meet at 7 p.m. on Sundays. Contact Lucas Pruett for details.

About AMS Life Groups

Since the beginning of the church, small group meetings have provided an outlet for Christ followers to gather to connect, study God’s Word, and encourage one another. During this season, our Life Groups are the heartbeat of what we do. Each Sunday night at 7 p.m., our same gender and grade Life Groups present our students the opportunity to do life together and learn, speculate and apply truths that will mold their lives as Christ followers. If you desire more information about our Life Groups or you are a student who wishes to join a Life Group, please reach out to AMS Director Lucas Pruett, and make sure you are subscribed to our weekly newsletters so you can receive the important information about the location and times for our Life Group meetings.

Student Choir

The Alpharetta Methodist Music Ministry offers a Student Choir for middle and high school students. Rehearsals will be held on Wednesday evenings, beginning Sept. 8, from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. in the Student Center Chapel. The Student Choir will sing in worship and special performances throughout the year.
The choir will be directed by Scott Estep, a church member who has years of experience as a choral director and is excited to be working with student vocalists.

Confirmation

8th grade

Confirmation curriculum is designed to teach our students about the Methodist Church and its values and beliefs and how those play out in our church. This program is also an opportunity for each student to become confirmed into Alpharetta Methodist Church.

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no confirmation class during the 2021-22 school year.
