Sanctuary
“He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.”
1 Peter 2:24
The Good Friday service will offer scripture and meditation, reflecting on Jesus’ last hours on earth. The format of this service is Tenebrae, or “Darkness,” the gradual extinguishing of candles and lights following the reading of Scripture passages until the Sanctuary is in darkness. Music will be provided by the Vinebranch Band.
A nursery will be available during this service for children 6 weeks through pre-kindergarten age 4.
